We’re excited to share that UCF has been selected to join the inaugural National Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Accelerator, a new initiative out of Arizona State University to reimagine how higher education connects learning with career skill development in the field. Our UCF team—Tyler Walsh (Center for Higher Education Innovation), Chanda Torres (Dixon Career Center), Kurt Stresau (Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering), and Quynh Dang (Experiential Learning)—will collaborate with seven other institutions from across the country to co-design and test new approaches to expand access to meaningful, career-aligned learning experiences for all students.

UCF will conduct a Discovery Sprint this Fall and design a pilot program to implement in Spring 2026. We believe this work will shape the future of work-integrated learning nationwide.

If you would like to participate in the Discovery Sprint, please reach out to innovation@ucf.edu.
