We encourage our community of Knights to reach out for support and report or refer a student of concern, dangerous or disruptive behavior, issues of academic misconduct, or other behavior that may negatively impact the campus community and beyond. Some of these reporting options and resources are confidential. If you have questions or concerns about which may be the appropriate reporting option, do not hesitate to contact UCF Cares to learn more.

Report an incident of discrimination.

Report a Student of Concern

The Student of Concern Process allows students, staff, faculty, and UCF community members to report concerning behavior exhibited by a student. If you are aware that a student is experiencing challenges or difficulties that concern you, please report the concern using the Student of Concern Form. The entire UCF community will benefit. It is our goal to intervene before the student reaches a crisis level. Examples of concerning behavior includes but is not limited to the following: a student exhibiting behavior significantly out of character, acting peculiar (and this is cause for alarm), displaying unhealthy or dangerous patterns of behavior, or continuing to seem distressed despite prior referrals made.

Report a Violation of Academic Misconduct

When an instructor becomes aware of an alleged violation of student academic behavior standards and before any academic action is taken, the instructor must decide if the behavior warrants formal documentation through the Alleged Academic Misconduct Report (AAMR) Form by identifying the alleged misconduct violations and proposing course sanctions. Academic misconduct includes but is not limited to cheating, plagiarism, assisting another in cheating or plagiarism, and commercial use of academic materials.

Report an Incident to the UCF Police Department

UCF Police Department patrols and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contact us anytime at (407) 823-5555. In an emergency, dial 911.

Report Hazing

Hazing is a serious matter and if you feel you, or someone you know has been hazed, you can report the hazing through any of the following ways:

  • If you encounter an emergency or need immediate assistance, please call 911.
  • Submitting a Hazing Reporting Form
  • File a report with the UCF Police Department by calling the non-emergency line at 407-823-5555
  • UCF IntegrityLine (anonymous): 1-855-877-6049 or make a report online. However, please be aware that the university may be unable to complete an investigation and/or hold students/organizations accountable without the ability to share and evaluate the source of the report for credibility.

Don’t be a bystander when it comes to hazing! Reporting is about care, safety, and connection to support. All reports of hazing will be directed for investigation to the appropriate department depending on the nature of the report.

Report Sexual Misconduct/Sexual Harassment (Title IX Incident Report)

Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance. Sex-based discrimination can include sexual assault, relationship abuse, stalking, and sexual harassment, which the Golden Rule Student Handbook categorizes as sexual misconduct and/or interpersonal violence. All disclosures of these types of incidents are taken seriously.

University Ombuds

The University Ombuds Office provides all members of the university community (students, staff, faculty, and others) an informal, independent, confidential, neutral office that offers assistance and impartial advice regarding concerns related to the University. The University Ombuds Officer will listen to concerns and will facilitate resolution of problems. All proceedings in individual cases will be held confidential by the Ombuds Officer, unless authorized by the complainant or otherwise required by applicable law, including without limitation, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes.
